Mitch Barrett

Mitch Barrett is one of Kentucky's most talented singer songwriters. His approach to lyrical storytelling is rooted in authentic experience. Mitch's music draws from his Appalachian heritage and its values: agrarian work ethic, simple living, the importance of family, and celebrating the joys and struggles of life through music.

A keen life observer and riveting performer, Mitch deftly laces thought-provoking subject matter with a satirist's sense of wit and irony. He has won several songwriting competitions including: the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival in Lyons, CO; the Merlefest Chris Austin Songwriting Competition (twice); and the prestigious Kerrville NewFolk Competition. Larry Zarella

In the spring of 1989, Larry left his hometown of Sagamore Beach, MA and drove to Alaska with the dream of building a log cabin. He found his place in the woods, built his cabin and began writing songs. Larry  recently returned to the East Coast and now lives in South Carolina. His songs have been used on television, included on compilation CDs and featured on Boston's WUMB folk radio.

Since his return, Larry is quickly becoming recognized as a top-notch performing songwriter, often sharing the stage with the legendary Bill Staines, who said, "Larry is a great songwriter, not only are his lyrics and melodies compelling, on top of that, he has something worthwhile to say."

Patrick Landeza: Winter In Hawaii

Hawaiian musician, songwriter, producer and educator Patrick Kahakauwila Kamaholelani Landeza is considered to be a leading performer of Hawaiian slack key guitar, or ki ho'alu, one of the world's great acoustic guitar traditions. Noted pianist and ki ho'alu player George Winston, who has recorded and played with some of the greatest slack key musicians, says "Patrick Landeza is one of the best and most dedicated of the new generation of slack key players."

Patrick is a full-time musician since the release of his instructional DVD, "Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Made Easy," and gives workshops around the country including the prestigious Swannanoa Gathering in NC, and the Healdsburg Guitar Festival. Performer's Website

Dana & Susan Robinson

Dana and Susan Robinson sing dust-on-the-boots vignettes of rural America. Dana delivers his lyrics with such poetic clarity as to take the audience along riding shotgun down the highway. Their stories reflect a deep affection for the landscape and a sense of place within it.  Dana and Susan are consummate multi-instrumentalists (guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin) integrating styles from the Appalachian, Celtic, and African traditions to create a fresh and contemporary sound that is uniquely their own. Al Petteway & Amy White

Award-winning, critically acclaimed, passionate and playful, Al & Amy are an acoustic music duo that draws inspiration from musical traditions across the globe and distills these myriad styles into a rich and unique voice – a timeless recipe for healing, heartfelt music. During an Al and Amy performance, the audience is treated to a variety of acoustic stringed instruments and percussion with a dash of pristine vocals. They capture the hearts of audiences with colorful stories of wildlife in their own back yard in the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina and the people and places along the way that have influenced their music.  Al and Amy invite their listeners to celebrate beauty and joy in all aspects of life. Woods Tea Company

Wood's Tea Company is a musical group that defies categorization. They perform bluegrass, Celtic tunes, sea chanties, and folk songs with an equal ease and skill. In concert, the Vermont-based group draws on a wide variety of musical experience and expression. They employ as many as a dozen different instruments from banjos, bezoukis and bodhrans, guitars and tin whistles.

The award winning band has been featured at Lincoln Center, The Chautauqua Institute, and on National Public Radio. Because of their busy schedule, they've been labeled "Vermont's hardest working folk group" by both the Burlington Free Press and Vermont Public Radio.  Performer's Website

Siobhan Quinn & Michael Bowers

Combined, Siobhan and Michael produce rich original and traditional music with strong harmony laden vocals over acoustic, resonator & high strung guitars. They'll entertain you, and call you to look at the world, and yourself, in a new and bigger way. That's what good music should do for all of us, and that's what they do best. Performer's Website
