What is a Green Sanctuary Certificate?

The Green Sanctuary Certificate is awarded to Churches and Fellowships that affirm and actively promote our Seventh Principle of "respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part."

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Asheville was officially recognized and awarded with a Green Sanctuary Certificate at the Unitarian Universalist General Assembly meeting in June 2008.
