I am an artist and an activist, with a slight tendency toward rabble-rousing, but ultimately, I seek to find the points of connection in life. I am particularly interested in studying the intersection of the Arts, Theology and Healing, as well as the ways in which our personal quest for wholeness and healing can contribute to the re-membering of the world. Embodiment, sustainable living, eco-feminism, Jungian archetypes, mysticism and all kinds of poetry are just a few of the things that whet my considerable appetite for new information and reflection. I am committed to the dynamic and life-changing potential of Unitarian Universalism, and feel truly blessed to be able to serve our faith in a professional capacity.
I grew up in Wisconsin and Maryland, and have lived many different places since then. I am a graduate of Oberlin College and Andover Newton Theological School, and was co-ordained by First Parish Church, Unitarian Universalist, in Northborough, MA and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax. My trusty dog, Maia and I currently reside in West Asheville, and my wife Cindy splits her time between our house in Asheville and Lancaster, PA where she is finishing her MDiv at Lancaster Theological Seminary.
