The Unitarian Universalist Church of Asheville publishes a newsletter that is mailed to members and friends approximately 12 times per year. Copies of the newsletter are available in Sandburg Hall in the Information rack and at the Visitors Table and Let’s Get Acquainted areas each Sunday.

UUCA Volunteers Trek to New Orleans (March 22, 2008)

The second UUCA group to volunteer in New Orleans leaves Asheville on March 22 for a week and will be doing whatever is needed to help people there. They have set up a blog so that they can share their adventure. UUCA members back home can read their blog and add their comments.

UUCA Volunteers Trek to New Orleans (February 28, 2008)

The first UUCA group to volunteer in New Orleans leaves Asheville on March 1 for a week and will be doing whatever is needed to help people there. Thirteen intrepid UUCA members will live in a dormitory at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of New Orleans. They have set up a blog so that they can share their adventure. UUCA members back home can read their blog and add their comments.

2008 Adult Education Offerings (December 2007)

The mission of UUCA's Adult Education program is to nurture the spiritual growth of all members of the UUCA community. We offer courses that address all aspects of the UU experience, including general spirituality, personal theology, liberal religious history, social justice, world religions, and UU parenting. These courses are open to all adults, members and non-members alike. Click SCHEDULE to view class offerings in January through May 2008.

Creating our Shared Future – Small Group Discussions led by the Strategic Planning Committee (May 2007)
The Strategic Planning Committee concluded a month long, important series of conversations with members and friends to discuss future visions for our congregation. It will take time for the Strategic Planning Committee to consolidate what was heard and prepare information that will be shared with the congregation in the months ahead.

45th General Assembly (GA 2006) of the UUA
